Quick guide
Maximize your experience watching anime without filler
Find your favorite series in our catalog or use the search bar. We have 1000+ regularly updated guides.
Each episode is classified using the categories available in the source data. Most series in the catalogue distinguish canon from filler.
Episode lists preserve release order and related works are identified separately, so a sequel is not counted as another season of the current series.
Featured cards estimate filler time from episode counts and duration, counting only the episodes a filler-skipping route actually leaves out.
Common questions
Solve your doubts about how to watch anime without filler correctly
It depends on the series and the episode duration. The featured guide cards estimate time from the number of episodes classified as filler and a 24-minute default when no duration is supplied.
Canon: part of the main story taken from the original work. Filler: created by the studio outside that source material, so it can be skipped. Each episode row in a guide is marked with one of these labels, in green for canon and red for filler, so you can see at a glance what a route skips.
A filler label indicates that the episode is outside the main source material used by the project. If a classification looks wrong, email the series and episode details from the contact page.
Our team compares line by line each episode with the original manga/novel. We consult verified sources like MyAnimeList, Reddit, and specialized forums. Each guide is reviewed by multiple editors before publication. If an anime has controversy in the community, we mark it clearly.
Some anime-original episodes may still be enjoyable, but the guide's filler label describes their relationship to the source material. Use the episode notes and your own preference when deciding whether to watch them.
The series page separates the main work from related works and links to available watch-order information. Movies and OVAs are optional unless the guide explicitly explains their place in that series' continuity.
